Where has the time gone?

I know, it's been months since I posted anything. Life seems to be speeding up and time slips from our hands more quickly now. My children are now back in school (Mary is a 6th grader at Drake Middle School and Michael is a 4th grader at Wrights Mill Road Elementary), David is teaching classes again at AU and I'm left home alone. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some peace and quiet somedays, but other days the void of not having someone here with me makes me very depressed. It makes me miss my "good" friends. You know, the ones who weren't afraid to ask me "How are you REALLY doing?" or to realy do life together. We have not found that recently. I have missed that. I have been praying that God would bring us to others who want to get involved with our lives and to be there walking along with us - even when it's not pretty. To not be afriad to deal with the "camel-hairy-ness" of the ugly parts of each other's lives.
To my friends who support me from across the miles, I would ask for your prayers. My heart is heavy and my house and life are too quiet.

Psalm 55:13-14
New International Version (NIV)

13 But it is you, a man like myself,
my companion, my close friend,
14 with whom I once enjoyed sweet fellowship
at the house of God,
as we walked about
among the worshipers.
